WHAT WILL WE DO?
During this experience, we will provide a clear schedule for your group to follow which focuses primarily on three areas: ministry opportunities, creative teaching sessions, and service projects.
Our staff will lead your group into a variety of ministry experiences, such as servant evangelism, kids’ club, prayer walking, etc. These opportunities are exciting for the youth! We’ve discovered that many return home with a new vision for evangelistic outreach and Christ-centered service.
Our summer staff will lead a variety of creative sessions, which may involve teaching, drama, videos, worship, and ministry time.
Your youth group will also participate in service projects both at the Rosedale International Center and within the Columbus community. We view your labor at the Rosedale International Center as high-impact and invaluable in our effort to reach the nations with Jesus Christ. Your acts of service help us provide a facility where people can be discipled and trained to share Jesus with the world. Locally, our goal is to bless the inner city ministries with whom we partner through your youth group’s acts of service.
Rosedale Mennonite Missions (RMM) recently renovated a facility in Columbus, Ohio, that serves as our new training center. The building, christened the Rosedale International Center (RIC), now hosts SEND Ministries training programs and other RMM activities. One of these is the three-month Discipleship Training School for REACH, held during the fall. During the summer and winter it serves as the site for City Challenge, youth/school groups, church retreats, and other RMM events.
